Yet Another Insane Flight With A Toddler

Hello all,
Evan and I are in the process of getting a new computer, so I should be better about adding posts to this. The computer tried to arrive via ups today, but we missed it.

Currently, eliot and I are resting in a big white bed in the Costa Mesa Hilton in California. After a loooooong looooong loooooooooooooooooooooong flight, eliot and I made it to the airport, made it off the plane, retrieved our luggage, found the shuttle, got to the hotel, made it to the elevator, made it up 6 flights in the elevator (without ringing the fire bell, or pushing every button on the way up), made it almost all the way to the very end of the hall, unsuccessfully tried getting into the wrong room, called Evan and got the right room number, got 1 diaper changed and 4 hands washed, had a good cry (me-not her) and I think the little monster - uh, I mean darling baby - is finally asleep.

Luckily I wore my new dansko shoes on the airplane because we literally ran up and down the aisle for one and a half hours. My feet are killing me and I am on a lot of people's baaaad list, but it was better than just letting her howl!

Evan is enjoying a lovely dinner with adults, but has promised to bring me food when he returns. I hope this happens soon, because I am starving and the only thing in this hotel room made out of food is his baby...

Tomorrow I will meet up with Jen and hopefully Jesse too and have a good time seeing some of the sights and sounds of the city. We are really excited to see them and to see their fabulous city.

Love to you all
