For more than two years I have taken care of Garret. He started coming over when we lived in the house in Seattle and moved with us to the new home in Monroe. I have watched as he went through the growing pains associated with surgery, the teething and diaper rash associated with being a baby. The tears associated with sometimes learning the hard way. I have watched as he learned to roll over, sit up, crawl, toddle, walk then run, run, run. It has been incredible to watch him learn to babble and coo, then baby talk, then chatter chatter chatter!
I have loved being there to see Garret grow into a happy, energetic, funny, super sociable, smart, loving boy. I can see so much of his parents in him!
Thursday was Garret and Anna's 'last day' being babysat by me. We had to gather Garret and Eliot's gang together for a celebration complete with cake, hotdogs, playing at the park and lots of laughter.
We plan to continue to see a lot of Garret and Anna and feel blessed to have them and their incredible parents in our lives

Mommies love hotdogs too! (This picture was taken the day before Leah had baby Avery!)
