Illinois and Puerto Rico

I promise that I will get some photos up soon. Until then, you'll just have to listen to me ramble on. My apologies.

Tuesday morning Eliot and I will drop Evan off for his journey to Puerto Rico. We're bummed he is going, but very excited for him to have this adventure. He has a 12 hour flight (Seattle to NY, NY to San Juan, San Juan to Vieques). Once in Vieques Evan will be the site manager for overseeing contractors doing munitions response. His accomodations are a 4 bedroom, 4 bath house rented by CH2MHill for himself and the other CH employees working on the project.

Tuesday evening after Garret gets picked up baby eliot and I will head over to Granny and Bopa's house where we will spend the night before taking our own journey. Baby e, my Dad (eliot's Bopa) and I are traveling through Chicago to Mt. Pulaski, Illinois to visit my Grandparents and to attend my cousin's wedding.

Eliot and I will be gone for 5 days, while Evan will be gone for 2 weeks.

Other than that our days are flowing in a pretty typical sort of way. This weekend Evan cleaned out the garage, and Eliot and I planted some flowers. We spent some time with family and friends.

Eliot has moved into her "big girl" bed. She looks incredibly cute and tiny in her full size bed. Except of course for her head, which never looks tiny, no matter where she is. :)

It is a lot of fun to hear her express what she is thinking about. I'm looking forward to Eliot's reaction to being at the airport again. She gets incredibly excited whenever she sees or hears an airplane, which I would imagine comes from her many trips on them.
