This evening Evan, eliot and I attended the tour of the hospital where baby boy griffiths will be delivered. Overlake Hospital Medical Center is not as fancy schmancy as Evergreen, but I feel a lot more comfortable starting with a fresh slate.
We still haven't decided whether to have a scheduled c-section or to try for a vbac. We meet with Dr Graham tomorrow and hope to come up with a firmer plan (only 2 and a half weeks 'til the due date!)
For people interested in visiting at the hospital (because at this time, we have no idea how long we'll be there - I stayed for 4 days with eliot) we managed to gather some good information.
*Overlake doesn't have visiting hours, so guests can come any time of day
*You have to pay to park there, except weekends and evenings which are free
*Park in the West parking garage. (Go beyond the North parking garage, as if you were going to Emergency) It is about 300 yards, on the left, beyond the North parking garage.
*After you park go to the 6th floor.
*Please turn off your cell phones when you come into the hospital
They seem pretty laid back and don't have many rules. Nice.
Oh - and we found out that we don't have to have a name for the baby to leave the hospital. This baby is never going to have a name...
